Morrison Copper/Gold/Molybdenum Mine
Pacific Booker Minerals Inc.
Pacific Booker Minerals Inc. owns the Morrison property located in central British Columbia, 35 km north of the Village of Granisle.
About This Project
Pacific Booker Minerals Inc. owns 100% of the Morrison Property and has completed a feasibility study and Environmental Assessment of the project. Pacific Booker is proposing a 30,000 ton/day open pit mining and milling operation for the production of copper/gold concentrate and molybdenum concentrate. The total mineable reserve is 224.25 Mt with an average grade of 0.330% of copper, 0.163g/t of gold, and 0.004% molybdenum. The project did not include silver into the financial analysis, however this is a possibility of increased economic performance if silver credits are received from the treatment and refining of the copper concentrate.
The application for an Environmental Assessment Certificate was accepted for review on July 12, 2010 by the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office. Upon issuance of an Environmental Assessment Certificate and Federal authorizations, Pacific Booker Minerals Inc. commenced construction in September 2011.
The Morrison Project features a great deal of existing infrastructure to service the project. There is a road network, electrical power located only 25 kms from the project site, several full service communities within daily commuting distance to the project, and an ice free deep sea terminal at the port of Stewart.
